The specific implementation methods can be as follows:
1. Directly connect to the FX2N programming port, using Mitsubishi’s built-in FX2N programming port protocol. This method does not require any setup and programming on the FX2N. It only needs to be programmed on the Profibus master station to continuously read and write slave data. The FX2N slave will respond to the master’s response data by itself.
2. Through the FX2N communication module (FX2N232BD/ FX2N485BD or FX0N232ADP/ FX0N485ADP), use Mitsubishi protocol format 1 or protocol format 4 (the specific protocol content is detailed in the Mitsubishi FX communication user manual), except for the Profibus master station. Protocol programming continuously reads and writes slave data. FX2N slaves need basic communication format settings, but FX2N will respond automatically without writing a communication response procedure.
3. Through the FX2N communication module (FX2N232BD/ FX2N485BD or FX0N232ADP/ FX0N485ADP), write the communication protocol yourself. This method needs to continuously read and write the slave data on the Profibus master station according to the protocol programming, and also needs to write the communication program on the FX2N slave station. Constantly responding to calls from the primary station. Although the method is cumbersome to program, the protocol is flexible and adaptable. In fact, this method can be applied not only to the FX2N series PLC, but also to other PLCs or smart meters. As long as the protocol settings on both sides are the same, this method can be used. Through the Profibus universal RS232/RS485 bridge module CZP1- PQ20-T10ZL2-1A, to achieve the function of connecting the device to the Profibus network.
